Nigeria is located at the west of the African continent,presently she has a population of over 140 million and is referred to as the giant of Africa.
The colonization took place early 19th century when the British Empire came to Nigeria and an amalgamation was signed by some eminent people who are weren't known.
So the British government started ruling the country Nigeria in 1914,the president then was Lord Lugard.
The British government lasted until late 1950s when the citizens wants their independence and the independence was fully gained by some prominent politicians in Nigeria on the 1st of October 1960,this day is her independence and it's been celebrated yearly.
